Holography or graphic vision is an advanced photography technique that consists of creating three-dimensional images based on the use of light.

A laser beam is used to  microscopically etch a photosensitive film.

The interference that occurs between two coherent beams of light makes it possible for the light from one of them to reflect off the object.

This, when receiving a point light from the right perspective, projects an image in three dimensions.

In addition, processed and illuminated precisely, images can appear out of bounds, outwards or inwards towards the frame.

While the observer, without having the need for any accessory, can see them without discontinuities and varying the perspectives depending on their position.

Holography: A Complex Process

The use of holographic techniques in video systems is a complex process that is a great technological challenge.

If these challenges can be solved, it could become the system that would be used in a future three-dimensional television.

Meanwhile, the hologram system has advanced and become an element of great relevance for some sectors such as the audiovisual or security sectors.

By looking at a person’s holograph, the audience can feel that they are in front of someone real.

Likewise, the use of movement generated by three-dimensionality, added to the use of sounds, offers a greater sensation of reality.
